I see nothing,

I hear nothing.

Someone once told me,

that these things happen.

I didn't listen.

I try to stay in the present,

but I never do.

I see things,

but not really.

I hear you,

but I'm not listening.

How did this happen?

How has everything,

I thought I knew,
